Various Causes of Heart Diseases and Heart Infections
There may be various causes of various diseases and infections of hearts. In some of the people, only one cause can lead to deterioration of the heart. On the other hand, multiple causes can be involved in production of heart problems in some of the people. If we talk about cardiovascular diseases, we will see that various things can trigger those diseases. For example, accumulation of fat and cholesterol in arteries is one of the most prominent causes of cardiovascular diseases. Sometimes, arteries become stiff due to overload. These bacteria can enter in blood stream through our diet and oral health. If anyone's oral health is poor, he may get these infections or may become at risk for developing these infections. There are various viruses that can lead to infection of heart. These viruses include coxsackievirus B (one that causes influenza), human parvovirus B19 and echovirus (one that causes gastrointestinal infections). Moreover, sexually transmitted viruses can also produce infection that can travel through blood and damage heart eventually.
There are some of the parasites that can lead to infections in the heart. These parasites include Trypanosoma cruzi and toxoplasma. These are the parasites that can be transmitted from insects and cause infection. This condition is known as Chagas Disease. There are some medications and substances that can cause heart diseases. Drug abusers are at higher risk for developing heart diseases. Some of the antibiotics like Penicillin and Sulfonamide can put an individual at risk after misuse. It is necessary to use all these medicines as your doctor prescribe them. Alteration in their dosage can create problems for patients.
